RFeye systems are ideally suited for managing spectrum intensive sites such as military training grounds and proving grounds. They are used to continuously monitor bands of interest and to flag interference or unauthorized usage. Sources of unauthorized transmissions are quickly identified, investigated and geolocated using reliable techniques such as TDOA and AOA. This leads to fast resolution of spectrum conflicts and supports spectrum operations on the site. The same systems provide detailed information about spectrum usage and trends over time enabling improvements to overall efficiency of spectrum planning and allocations.

The RFeye can be supplied as a fully ruggedized man portable or vehicle based system designed for use in harsh environments, including battlefields. Systems can be operated from ground vehicles with real-time in-vehicle displays or data can be recorded and analyzed after the fact. Spectrum mapping allows analysis of spectrum usage before, during and after campaigns. Fast real-time displays can be used to identify available frequencies, minimize interference and plan better operational communications strategies, as well as for identifying suspect transmissions and potential enemy threats. CRFS also works with system integrators to provide flight ready systems for use in UAVs and other aircraft.
